Rising Stars of the Year Awards
The Ontario Rising Stars in Cancer Research Network award program launched in 2021. The awards recognize world-class postdoctoral trainees and students across Ontario who demonstrate scientific potential and a high standard of scholarly achievement in cancer research as well as community engagement and leadership.
Each year, a total of six awards are granted:
- Two awards of $1,000 for Master’s students
- Two awards of $2,000 for a PhD student
- Two awards of $2,000 for a postdoctoral fellow
